  • Globalization: Threat or opportunity: Does the global market represent our new customer base, or our competition? What are/can we be doing to turn it our way
  • Consolidations: How are mergers and acquisitions affecting our companies, our customers and our suppliers? Can independent companies survive and compete anymore?
  • Capital improvements in a changing economy: Is it time to replace the presses that were installed in the “roaring 80’s”, or can they continue to serve for the next 20 years?
  • Overcapacity, and how to deal with it
  • Staffing issues: from labor unions to outsourcing, what serves the company best?
  • Impact of the Internet, DVD’s and the US Postal Service on the printing industry
  • Niche business: A golden opportunity, or a recipe for failure?
  • Paper issues: Sources and availability? What is the advantage to cheaper paper coming from Eastern Europe?
  • Are more customers ordering their own paper, and how is this working out?
  • Is expansion coming from plant upgrades or acquisitions
  • Are companies planning to expand, contract, merge, acquire, or what
