Peer Networking
Printing Industry Credit Executives,
Inc.
"Nearly every day I turn to the PICE
network to ask other printers about their experiences with a potential
customer... It is also great to be able to pick up a phone to ask another
member how they handle ever-changing situations particular to the printing
industry." -- Judi Pool
In addition to regular interaction through the credit
exchange and during the spring and fall meetings, PICE members often
consult with each other through informal, one-on-one communications. While
such interactions may not constitute a credit "tool" in a formal sense,
members often say that the opportunity to network with peers is one of
the most valuable aspects of their PICE membership.
Dan Silletti, of Strategic Paper Group, put it this way:
"Several years ago, we were invited to become members of PICE. We immediately signed
up, and I am very glad that we did. I have found this group to be far
superior to any other that I have been involved with in my 30-year credit
career. Not only is the daily interchange of information essential to our
credit decisions, the networking with other credit executives is
invaluable in many ways."
Steve Marsh, Banta Publications Long Prairie, echoes this
sentiment:
"My PICE membership gives me critical tools for making an informed credit
decision. I have complete printing industry credit information at my
fingertips and my membership has allowed me to become personally
acquainted with the credit professionals in our industry. PICE is truly an
invaluable resource."
